Privacy policy

How Swarmfall handles local progress, advertising data, and player choices.

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Swarmfall ("the Game"), developed by namyeH Studios ("we", "us"), handles information when you play.

Information stored on your device

Swarmfall does not create a namyeH Studios account and does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or camera. Game progress and settings, including credits, unlocks, run statistics, audio settings, and control settings, are stored locally on your device. This local data remains until you reset it, clear the Game's storage, or uninstall the Game.

Google Play Games

On supported Android devices, the Game attempts to sign in to Google Play Games Services. You may decline or cancel sign-in and continue playing without the online leaderboard.

If you sign in, the Game accesses your Play Games player identifier and gamer display name and sends your best single-run banked-credit score to Google's leaderboard service. The Game also receives leaderboard ranks, scores, player identifiers, and gamer display names from Google to display the public leaderboard. Google associates and retains this information with your Play Games profile according to its own policies.

Advertising and third-party data collection

The Game shows rewarded and interstitial advertisements served by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource Ltd., a Unity company) and its partner advertising networks. These providers may automatically collect and process the following data to deliver ads, measure performance, limit fraud and abuse, troubleshoot the service, and personalize ads where permitted:

  • Device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID)
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Device and app information (such as model, operating system, language, and screen size)
  • Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped)
  • Diagnostics and performance data related to the advertising service

Those providers process this information under their own privacy policies:

On a fresh installation, the advertising service does not initialize until you choose either Personalized Ads or Limited Ads. Your choice is stored locally on your device and sent to Unity LevelPlay and supported advertising partners as the applicable consent and opt-out signals.

Rewarded ads

Some ads in the Game are optional "rewarded" ads that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit (for example, reviving after defeat or rerolling upgrade offers). Watching these is always your choice; declining never blocks normal play.

Your choices

  • Play Games: you may decline sign-in. You can change profile visibility or automatic sign-in in your Play Games privacy settings.
  • Delete Play Games data: use Google's Play Games data controls to delete Swarmfall's Play Games data or your Play Games profile.
  • Privacy Choices: open Settings > Privacy Choices in the Game at any time. Choose Limited Ads to request contextual advertising and send an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information to supported advertising partners. Choose Personalized Ads to permit personalized advertising. Either choice keeps the full Game available.
  • Android advertising controls: Android's privacy and advertising settings also let you reset or delete your Advertising ID and manage ad personalization. Available labels and paths vary by Android version.
  • Delete local game data: use the in-game reset option, clear the Game's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the Game. These actions do not automatically delete data held by Google Play Games or advertising providers.

Sharing and sale of data

namyeH Studios does not sell personal information for money and does not use Play Games profile or leaderboard information for advertising. Some privacy laws may define the disclosure of advertising identifiers and activity to advertising partners for personalized advertising as a "sale" or "sharing." Choosing Limited Ads is the Game's Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control for supported advertising partners.

Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their country. It contains fantasy combat and is intended for the age groups shown on its Google Play listing. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, contact us at the address below.

Data security and retention

namyeH Studios does not operate first-party game servers or maintain a separate player database. Data sent to Google Play Games, Unity LevelPlay, or advertising partners is transmitted and retained by those providers according to their policies and legal obligations. Local game data is retained on your device as described above.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the Game handles data (for example, by adding new features or SDKs), we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
